Kuribo’s Shoes is now accepting video game-related humor submissions!
That’s right, all you have to do is send us your ABSOLUTE BEST piece of funny video game-related writing, and (if we like it) we’ll post it right over there on the front page!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Any piece of video game satire, be it a fake news story, a fake review, a fake Top 10 List, anything!
- We’ll even take an *actual* review/news story/whatever but only if it’s exceptionally hilarious. We’re looking for humor, after all.
- We’ve cultivated a dry/sarcastic/ironic tone in the articles we’ve already posted, but you don’t need to write it exactly like we would, as long as it’s funny!
- Here’s a tip: Try to avoid easy jokes. Every funny thing that can be said about exploding barrels has already been said…OR HAS IT? If you can really make us laugh, we don’t necessarily care what you’re writing about!
- If you’re submitting a piece to us that has already been posted somewhere else, that’s fine, but once we do post something that you submitted, we ask that you not post it anywhere else for a while (at least not without linking back to us).
- If we choose to post one of your pieces, we’ll polish it up (if we need to) and then give you a chance to plug anything you want on our site (your own blog, your favorite Taco Bell franchise, whatever)
- Also, when you e-mail us, make sure to include your own e-mail…so we can message you back and stuff. That’s an important part of the process.

Any and all questions can be sent to that e-mail I just mentioned, or you could also use the handy form. It’s just so damn handy!
With your help, we can really make Kuribo’s Shoes into something special, and bring some much needed levity to the painfully serious medium of video games.
